Born in Liberia, our story begins in a land vibrant with promise but soon overshadowed by the harsh realities of civil war. Forced to flee our home, our family sought refuge in Connecticut, far from the warmth and familiarity of Liberia. In a world of new customs and colder climates, I planted new roots, carrying with me the resilience of my immigrant experience.

Growing up in Connecticut, I embraced the ethos of community service and cultural diversity, finding my way through challenges and dreaming of a future where I could weave my own story into the American fabric. Those early years were shaped by a deep love for biking—a passion that saw me and my friends venturing across the state, chasing freedom and adventure on two wheels.

As life unfolded, I sharpened my entrepreneurial skills in Charlotte, NC, and later moved to Minnesota’s digital analytics sector. But my heart led me to Atlanta, where the warmth of family and a reconnection with my son, my sister, niece, nephew and cousins deepened my sense of purpose. It was here, in the company of friends, neighborhood teenagers whose laughter belied economic hardships, that the spark for eStar Rides was ignited.
